Rod McLeod Park is an 18-developed-acre hillside park in Escondido, California, located at 1701 South Iris Lane. The City of Escondido facility page describes the park as one of the higher points of land in the area immediately encircling the city, offering views of the downtown area and surrounding countryside. It is named for Rod McLeod, a former Palomar Hospital administrator and member of the Escondido Parks and Recreation Commission.
